SUMMER JOINT MINYANIM

AT AJ AND KI

Beginning June 1st, Adath Jeshurun and Keneseth Israel will be holding joint daily minyanim throughout the summer.  The schedule is designed to be as easy to remember as possible, to insure continued participation in all minyanim.  Times for morning and evening services will be the same, regardless of at which synagogue services are held, except for Shabbat morning.  Weekly morning services will be at 7:00 a.m. and weekly evening services will be at 5:45 p.m.

June 1 through June 30, Sundays through Fridays:

Morning services at AJ at 7:00 a.m. (Sundays at 8:30 a.m.)

Evening services at KI at 5:45 p.m. (including Fridays)

(Note: Shabbat morning and evening services will remain at the respective congregations during June.  Also, Shavuot services will be held at the separate synagogues.)

July 1 through July 31, Sundays through Shabbat:

Morning services at KI 7:00 a.m. (Sundays at 8:30 a.m.)

Evening services at AJ at 5:45 p.m. (including Fridays)

Shabbat morning services at KI at 9:30 a.m.

August 1 through August 31, Sundays through Shabbat:

Morning services at AJ at 7:00 a.m. (Sundays at 8:30 a.m.)

Evening services at KI at 5:45 p.m. (including Fridays)

Shabbat morning services at AJ at 9:15 a.m. except for August 16, August 23, and August 30.  These are currently scheduled bnai mitzvah services.  Shabbat morning services on these three dates will be held at KI and AJ.

Services will be conducted according to each congregation’s tradition while at the specific congregation.  In other words, when at AJ we daven AJ’s way; when at KI, we daven KI’s way.
